From Blink-182.com

"For over a decade, Blink-182 has toured, recorded and done non-stop promotion all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends.

To that end, the band has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with their loved ones. While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring."

If they do work together again, it would not be for a long time.

yeah it doesn't look good for Blink fans. I liked a few songs by Box Car, but they got too whiney for me

Blink's last album was good.

The Transplants suck.

There should be another Box Car release.

is there any word on what happened? did they get into a fight or something?

I wonder what happened- it does seem very sudden.
And Boxcar Racer was pretty cool- but I don't think anything will happen there since Tom and Travis were both in it. It kinda seems as if none of them want to work together anymore.

My sister's now watching the Always video.

She's definitely mourning, I can see it in her eyes.

Stop quoting articles. Articles arn't always right. They are assuming things. I'm sure if you tried you could find pleanty of articles stating OLPs release date, and we all know how that turned out.

Honestly, I can't see them never re-grouping again. They have clothing lines, other bands, record labels, all of them have families now and I think they just want to have a break. I think in a couple of years down the road we'll see more blink again.

I also have to say that I really liked Blink. They had really catchy songs that get stuck in your head and they made really emotional songs that made you want to cry. Their last record was one of my favorites from the whole year and it is sad that we won't get to see them elaborate on that. I grew up with Blink 182. I'm gonna miss them. :(

that's a press release not an article. it's from the band to us.

Aww, boo. One of the few bands of their genre that I actually really enjoyed.

Someone said that they've seen them 3 times and each time they got better... that's kinda funny, cos I saw them twice and the second time they were way worse than the first. Course, the second time they were trying to follow Green Day... poor goofy idiots.

It's a shame, cuz I really enjoyed their last album, and I wasn't a Blink fan before that album, but hiatus doesn't mean they went RATM on your asses.

haha, yeah that probably has something to do with it, because the first time i saw them they were followed by bush and oasis, both of which blowed them out of the water. the second two times were headliners, so that probably helped a lot.
