What a pedestrian use of black text. You passive, lackluster, pathetic excuse for a geek.

marvin is far too big
like when marvin's talkin to that big ass "killomatic" robot or whatever it was called (i cant remember off the top of my head) in the head office of the guide, the whole thing in my head was this big robot (i pictured a tank sized thing) and marvin just standin there.. (pictured a really skinny kid who just had a growth spurt and hasnt put on any weight since he got taller so hes skinnier than a toothpick) standing there and stuff

marvin's being played by warwick davis. minime if you don't know, or professor flitwick. and he's being voiced by alan rickman, aka professor snape. marvin's too big though.
and i don't think zaphod's second head being taken out is such a big loss. zaphod's major defining characteristic is his ego and personality, and the head doesn't play such a huge part anyway.

Saman! Warwick Davis wasn't Mini Me, warwick davis played Willow, helped kenny baker with R2-D2, also played Wicket, the main Ewok in Return of the Jedi and played The Leprechaun in those Leprechaun horror movies.
The guy who played mini-me was Vern Troyer.

oh. weird. cuz i know warwick davis was also the little goblin guy in the philosopher's stone who opens bank vault 713, and everyone kept telling me he was minime. oh well. anyway, warwick davis is playing marvin.

Am I the only one who thinks that, aside from a lack of plotline influence, a
second head is a big loss?
Like I said, imagine Gandalf without a beard. Everyone would be pissed off that there was such a blatant disregard for the obvious description given in the novels. It's the same idea here. Even though a beardless Gandalf wouldn't change a thing, it just wouldn't be Gandalf! There is absolutely no good reason for either characteristic to be removed.
Also, Marvin does seem quite large. He needs to be more pathetic looking.

i have to agree. his second head actually came into play with a lot of jokes, so it's not like it's completely irrelivent in the plot either.

im glad im not the only one who thinks marvin is too big
i think his "pathetic" size is integral to him being more depressed looking and stuff

A short summary of salient points as they pertain to my opinion:
a) where the fuck is zaphod's other head and why is he being played by chad kroeger?
b) marvin is disturbingly large and bears a terrifying resemblance to
Pintsize
c) for the love of god, diversity is all well and good but Ford is meant to be a redhead

bahaha chad kroeger. i was so confused when i saw the pic, cuz i thought, "what? why the hell is zaphod being played by chad kroeger?? when did chad kroeger decide to start acting?!"
also agree about ford, i didn't at all think he could be black.
