speaking from expirience, i can tell you that hooking up with this chick is gonna piss your friend off. he might say go for it and that he doesn't care, but he's a godamn liar. (during my wild years) i started talking to my friends chick the day before they broke up and then a week later we were all over each other. so she called him on three way and i stayed quiet and he was pissed and making up shit about me while i was on the phone with them. then like an hour later he comes by the house like nothing happened.

anyhow, the moral here is that were still good friends. yeah he's gonna be pissed and if he's unstable he'll want to kick your ass, but if he's rational, he'll be pissed underneath but not let it overcome him. so basically it's all on the guy man, if you know he's gonna hunt you down and kill your dog for doing his ex, then stay clear, if he's gonna pretend to be cool about it and still be a little upset, then go for it man. me and that guy are still cool.

exactly. that's why i said choose between the girl or your friend. In pretty much every single situation if you were to ask a friend if you can date their ex, even if they say yes, they're going to be pissed or not really up for the idea.

If you're not good friends with the guy and he's a jackhole and you have nothing to fear, no dogs or rabbits or little fuzzy animals that are easy to kill, then it just depends on what you want more, the girl or your friendship.

Of course if you were good friends with the guy, or he's been a loyal friend, it doesn't say much about you if you were to fuck that friendship up over some girl.

wow i was wasted that night. I didn't do anthing with her. I would also like to stress that shes my friend aswell, people seem to think she's just my friend's girlfriend, we weere friends before they dated and had a fling. As far as my male friend, i think he'd be like Lando said angry on the inside but cool on the outside. I'm, off course, not planning to do anything right after they break up, but i might try something later.
