I saw that trailer in theater with friends, and it was all pretty and nice, and then the world exploded and my friend cried.

Plus, the 42 in the stars = genius.

I just wish I'd seen it in theatres first. Not knowing what it was, then slowly realizing that it's HHGttG would have been awesome.

Probably would have peed my pants a little.

I got really agitated and excited as soon as I heard the music start up in the theatre  I was like HITCHHIKERS GUIDE! HITCHHIKERS GUIDE! So if you had seen it with ME in the theatre it probably wouldn't have been that much of a surprise either

I think the new Batman movie is coming out next summer. Called Batman Begins, and Christian Bale (sigh) is playing Batman. It's not part of the series and instead is sort of a new take at Batman, more based on the comics.

Actually it's coming out this summer, summer 2005

and for the other question, Yes he's still batman, this is a prequel, focusing on a young batman, his origin, how he came to be.

Spoiler: Liam Neeson teaches him to fight.

I'm not a fan of this trailer.

I've seen this preview, it's basically the same as the preview for TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE with the exception of the Louis Armstrong song and some book specific imagery.
