I haven't been outside all day. And I plan not to. It's comfortable in my non-air conditioned room.

today is the day from hell for me. i have to go back down to the bookstore and attempt to return a book and screw them over. it probably won't work and i'll probably get arrested for it. wish me luck!

it's a long story...i kinda broke something..and therefore am not allowed to return it..and then i bought another book..and am going to lie about buying with the stuff already broken. it's long, complicated, and i'm pretty sure it's illegal.

i'm leaving now..so we'll see if it works...

well today was a normal day in Welland... well except for when my mom picked me up from work i found out my grandpa had a mild stroke last night and may need sergery... he's alright right now and at home resting but he'll need sergery to unclog the arteries...
poor guy, I mean he's had 5 heart attacks, 2 quadruple bi-passes and now a stroke, and he's like the greatest person i know.

he'll be fine... everything will be fine... all will be well...

There was a car crash a few days ago in my town about 3 miles from where I live. The sirens went off at about 3 o'clock in the morning and went for a really long time. I didn't think anything of it.

The next day, my superintendent came over the loud speakers during 4th period and told us that a boy that graduated last year got in an accident with his mother. His mother was killed instantly but the boy was in critical condition, on life support. He died last nite.

This town I live in has 5000 people in it, everyone knows everyone and this hurts. Not to sound rude or insensitive, but this kid wasn't exactly well-liked. Lots of people used to make fun of him, I didn't because I always think what if something like this happened. I'd feel pretty bad if it did. I never thought it would though. I can't believe that another crash happened.

Every single grade in my school, except for mine, has lost a person since the graduating class of 1998. Our school doesn't even have 400 people in it, grades 7-12. That's scary. Last year, about this time, one of my really close friends got in a bad car accident where his brain was bleeding and he was in the hospital for a really long time. In 1997, my ex-boyfriend's brother and his best friend were killed in a crash. That was so tragic. Our town was devastated. We didn't have school for a week. It was so horrible.

I just don't understand why things like this have to happen. This kid that died was so smart. He had so many things going for him. People made fun of him all the time, but it was just because they were stupid and he was an "easy target". He was always in the top 5 of his class, he was in chorus, in the school musical every year. I just don't understand it. It's so horrible.
