Ok, my offical job title is going to be Raine's Twitter tutor. He's a talented writer but his tweets are lacking and the capitalization, punctuation, and 5,000 !!! drive me crazy. He needs some help to live up to his full tweeting potential.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I have to agree with you. He is very sloppy. He's probably really busy but oh well I'm happy he takes the time to use Twitter. I follow him... and Steve and Jeremy.

It is probably cause he is tweeting from his blackberry and doing it quickly. I have gotten messages back from him the same way. I get what he is trying to say though so all good.

I now understand how Raine feels when people make fun of his hats. When I was in Pittsburgh, I purchased the OLP hat and today I wore it. My husband immediately began laughing and teasing me when he saw it. He is not a fan of the hat, but much like Mr. Maida; I don't care because I do!

This probably is one of my all time fave live shot of Raine that I took. Actually I have lots of him singing on here but so few of him playing.

Say what you will about his hats. I love this picture. I think it's beautiful.

ok. I have to ask Raine where this fountain of youth is.. He gets younger looking as he gets older.

And finally, ET Canada is celebrating a milestone with Canadian music's super couple, Chantal Kreviazuk and Our Lady Peace front man Raine Maida, as they renew their marriage vows on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. Commemorating their 10-year anniversary, active humanitarians and recipients of the 2009 Tiffany Mark Award, Chantal and Raine invite their friends and family to the 'Happiest Country on Earth' to help them honour this joyous occasion. Rick Campanelli is on the guest list and captures all the emotion from the big day, plus a little fun in the sun too. From the dress to the vows, ET Canada has the scoop starting Monday, December 7.
ET Canada airs weeknights at 7pm ET/7:30pm PT on Global and 11pm ET/8pm PT on SLICE

facebook is broken and I got bored so I resorted to MySpace. Bleh. I recently realized you can do an image search so I typed in Our Lady Peace to see concert photos. I found this and could not stop laughing.

I'm glad people are fast enough with the camera to capture these moments and that I was bored enough to realize the only fun and interesting thing to do on MySpace is look through photos!
