you should get a job at my work. lots of people from temple go there
And your work is?
I really need a decent job. And maybe a reeeaaalllyyy decent one for after I graduate in May.
urbanoutfitters.com. it's at 1700 sansom. basically take orders over the phone and cs calls. no outbound calls! all inbound
By September of this year I need to raise at least seven thousand dollars more than what I have saved, and I may need to raise as much as ten thousand more.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!
I've got a secret for you Joshy. Loans. They may sound painful, but in reality, it will cost you less than a car. Now, isn't your education worth that?
I'm sure I'm going to have to get a loan, but I'm not looking at that as an excuse not to work hard and save a lot. I want to minimize the amount I'm going to have to borrow...

Well it could be worse. I have a friend who is doing a transfer program at our university for absolutely no reason other then its fun. The thing is, she has to take out a student loan for like $15 000 or more because she doesn't have enough saved up.
Oh I should mention...she bought a laptop with scholarship money. Its people like that who will be in debt for the rest of their lives.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I'm using part of my student loan since they gave me about 2000 more than I need to go on a trip to Quebec city with my gf in May.
She won't be in debt for life if she is able to manage her money when she's older. I'm looking at about $20,000 to pay off when I'm done school, and I figure I'll have it paid off in 5 years if I get even a job that starts at 30,000/year (for what I want to do the starting salary is 38,000 anyways)
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

She wanted to take out a $40 000 loan originally so she could have lots of spending money.
I have absolutely no idea how she intends to pay off her debt.
