not sarcasm. people i know have a habit of telling me they just want me to be happy, then ditching me completely when something like this occurs. kinda sad.

i'm beyond help. i just wanna cry i'm so frustrated with it. i never understand how to find standard deviations when they don't give them to you. and then even when i think i understand i perform the tests and i get completely different answers. :uh: and then what the hell how is "s" different from sigma? ahhhhhhhhhh!!! :crying:

ugghh..standard deviation...so never want to hear those two words again

it's the most evil part of stats. i would be fine if it weren't for the SD!

there's a formula for calculating SD... and sigma means "sum of"

and i hate standard deviation too

no i mean that little curisive o like symbol sigma, hmm maybe it's called something different. it doesn't matter now. i'm just walking to the guillotine. maybe i'll just bring a book to read instead.

kimmy, the o is the standard deviation of a sample, if i'm correct. i forget though. there's standard deviation of a population and standard deviation of a sample. i don't remember which is which, and my mommy took all my old notes home, or i'd help ya out.
