rob, the same kinda thing happened to me yesterday. i was driving to work and it was raining so hard that i could barely see anything. and the roads were so slippery. when i finally did make it to work, the rain had stopped. grrrrrr.

holy shit. i'm screwed. just did a practice AP stats test and got only 16 out of 40 multiple choices correct. i'm math retarted. i'm gonna get at 1 or 2 at most tomorrow. :cry:

i'm beyond help. i just wanna cry i'm so frustrated with it. i never understand how to find standard deviations when they don't give them to you. and then even when i think i understand i perform the tests and i get completely different answers. :uh: and then what the hell how is "s" different from sigma? ahhhhhhhhhh!!! :crying:

there's a formula for calculating SD... and sigma means "sum of"

and i hate standard deviation too :mad:

kimmy, the o is the standard deviation of a sample, if i'm correct. i forget though. there's standard deviation of a population and standard deviation of a sample. i don't remember which is which, and my mommy took all my old notes home, or i'd help ya out.
