I was hoping x-pats would get played... I actually yelled out "X-pats" right after big city life and Matt looked up and said "what do you say Christian" and they just ended up playing Load me up, so I don't think he heard me but it got me somewhat excited for a second lol

Unfortunately there were a lot of asses in the crowd, causing Matt to seemed really pissed off throughout the concert. At the end during Can't get shot he told off the guys who were moshing and crowd surfing. The sad thing was that they were doing it during songs like empty road. I felt so bad for Matt cause he really deserved better. I doubt he'll want to come back to Toronto anytime soon.
I'm sure you've already seen it, but at least people did e-mail to apologize for the crowd surfers. Damn I hate crowd surfers. "Yeah! This music is so awesome, I have to throw myself into the air and land on a bunch of unsuspecting people and damn near crush their necks thus ruining them enjoying the concert because I'm a dumbass!"

I was one of the people who wrote to him. I was really embarassed about being part of that crowd. Matt put on such a great show, and most of his true fans barely got to hear it because they had to have their backs turned to watch for incoming bodies. I honestly don't remember much from X-rated to In love with a bad idea. That's basically 1/4th of the set that I don't remember simply because of all the assholes in the crowd.
To be quite honest it was basically 10 people who kept on doing it. They'd get chucked over and just run around the baricade to do it all over again. Being that I was front row I often was the last person to get them, and basically had to do it myself cause my girlfriend isn't nearly as strong. I tried to chuck a couple of them into the stage wall but damn security kept catching them.

Go! Don't think twice and just go. He changes up the sets, but even if he didn't he's still probably the best act in Canada right now. Like the guy from Limblifter said, Matt has never been better than he is right now. I've thought about going but living in Peterborough would make it tough to get to a show on the other side of toronto.

Caught Matt Good two weeks ago...he was pretty good. My main complaint was that the show was delayed about an hour so that the opening act didn't start until 8:30 (and I had school the next day and my friend had to get up to work at 6am so we were both like "Hurry up and get Matt Good on stage already!) Nonetheless, I enjoyed Auf Der Mar and the other opening act (what was their name again???)
Does anyone have the setlist or know where I can find the setlist for the Edmonton show?

I've got the cd, Sean. It's shared on the hub if you want to grab it. Also, I swear in the bootleg of the 23rd Toronto show, I think I hear Jim scream out for Ex-Pats.

Yes I do. It's probably one of the best live recordings in my collection as far as how clear the audio is. It's definitely worth the time to download. It's available in mp3 and shn formats. 2004-10-23 - The Kool Haus, Toronto, ON
