Not really. Saying you think of a guy as "like a brother" only means you feel comfortable and safe around him. Personally, I think that's a pretty good foundation to a relationship.

Also: I would only ever say "You're like a brother", if there was no attraction of any kind. I've always thought it was the kiss of death, to any chance of a relationship. Atleast to me, after saying that(and then later getting together), it would be like spiritual incest or something.
