a little bit to much country for me, but it's still pretty cool. He was better with IME, but songs like "Jen's Song" (His Wife) are pretty sweet. He's actually got a chance at some serious sucess here i think. He seems more accessable now.

people are right, he is kinda like a Canadian Ryan Adams, with a better voice

Yeah, I'm not really into the folk/country scene, so it's not really my tastes.

<thread revival>

I've been downloading some IME songs at random, but LimeWire really sucks for IME stuff.

Currently I own tQMD, and have downloaded: When Did You Get Back From Mars?, Not Quite Sonic, Levitate, Rain Will Fall, One More Astronaut, Another Sunday, So Gently We Go, Raspberry, Summertime in the Void

So basically I'm looking for anything I don't have. MSN is the preferred method of transfer (playstation.triple6@gmail.com)

i would have been able to hook you up with all the songs from all the albums awhile ago but since my computer's hard drive got fried i might not be able to get you much.

I'll see what i can find though.

oh and check bargain bins and such, ussually it isn't actually that hard to find Scenery or BGO in them for like 5 bucks

I found out a while ago (but kept forgetting to post) that my sister's boyfriend used to hang out with IME back in the early years. He was pretty good friends with Edwin at the time.

<- approves of her boyfriend

Total Revival!

I'm not sure how to get them back together, i wish they would though, they kicked so much ass. I'm kinda stoked for Brian's new CD but it's nothing like IME, way to mellow

I Listened to some of Brian's stuff and didn't like it at all . . . so yeah, I'll just give TQMD a listen.

yeah i've started listening to TQMD again too, i layed off for a bit because sometimes there's to much going on to listen to non-stop. It's so awesome it's actually mentally taxing

I haven't listened to Brian's stuff yet. In fact the only IME material or related material I've heard is Scenery and the Fish so I definitely need to pick up their other cd's.

i would consider them actually 2 diffrent bands under the same name. They're both awesome though, i actually prefer Brian now but at first i hated him, he takes some warming up to for some people, but his voice on TQMD can't be beat, and BGO is so original, i can't say that anyone has ever put out a cd that sounded like that.

I prefer Brian too.

IME is an awesome band. They always kind of reminded me of OLP.

My favorite song by them is Gardens of Gargantua.
