I like the OMA vid, its good. Thief outwardly appears boring for those who dont understand the true meaning of the song, but when the meaning of the song is understand,. the video adapts a whole new meaning

to each his/her own. i dont like the thief video as a whole although i like the concept of sitting in the rain. but i love the naveed video a lot. a lot a lot.

no you aren't NIkki. I do not like the OMA video. I don't even like the song. Now I am the only OLP fan to say that. Hates song and video..

as For A/LS..I just love this song done live. I always think it is a keyboard , but it iis actually Steve on guitar. the part right before he goes "Looks like the holy ghost is gone. looks like the war was in y our head( or whatever th eline is) " :drool:

actually the only song on this new cd I had vid idea for was WOAS> i totally see it done in an amusemnt park or somethng. These two youngs kids( late teens) just enjoying their lives and each other while their whole world around them is falling apart. then you can show wars, devastatin and things of that nature. cause that is what I get from ths song. That someone makes you realize isn't as bad as it seems, and we can change it.

I also agree with Nikki on thief. It was a symbolic video to capture the mood of the song. I think if you ever had someone you love terminally ill or you yourself been ill this osng effects you.. It is never easy watching someone you love deteroiate before your eyes. I sometimes can't hear this song cause I have lost 4 people close to me to terminal illness( my parent, My grandma and my uncle) so it is hard for me to hear it. I do love the video

My fave OLP vidoe is Birdman cause I love seeing Raine freak out in the end where he is practically swinging from the microphone. I also love Hope, In Repair, IAH., Thief and SD with the kid. the other version with the carnival people is too freaky for me.

least faves. OMA fn SOT. Goe I really don't liek those vids

the video for thief is one of two videos that makes me cry every time i see it. the other one is everybody hurts, by rem.

and OMA makes me feel happy, and powerful for some reason.

back on topic, yay for angels losing sleep!...uh..i haven't even read the last few pages of this thread, but that seems to be about right...yay!

wow, the first person i've met who doesn't like oma... insane. i don't know, if i had to guess which olp song EVERY olp fan would love, or at least admire, it would be oma for sure. i for one am crazy about it. i have my headphones over my ears listening to it before school at least once a week. it does give you that powerful feeling, and that's awesome when you feel half-dead and filled with impending doom too early in the morning on a monday.

I don't know how anybody can hate "One Man Army" and like the band really. It's quintessential of their sound in the 90s. Might as well hate "Naveed" (the song) and "Superman's Dead" while you're at it.

I don't hate OMA, but it's never been one of my favourites - it's one of the ones I could honestly take or leave live.

I am sorry. I just do not lke OMA at all.. I cant' explain it. The video is horrible and it is not one of their best songs at all. they have done so much better. I know this is one song most if not all OLP fans LOve.

what can I say I have to be different.

then again I bet there are people who don;t like my fave OLP song/../

Naveed, Hope and superman have been my top faves for years. Hasn;t changed.. Eery cd it chnges. Notice WOAS is there. That is probably my fave songof HIPT.. then agian I really love Angels, Boy and Future..

I actually met someone the other night that said Naveed was thier least fave cd. happiness was the fave. Odd Alot of people I have meet seem to lvoe Happiness and that is their fave OLP cd. It is my least fave alhtought here are some amazing songs on it.. Thief, Stealing Babies, Blister. Poatogirl..
