This thread is insane. I have read all of the threads with starvingeyes here pissing people off. If everyone would just...recall what he is like...then we could get along. We all knew he was kidding! That is why I didn't respond. If I had thought he wasn't kidding I would have freaked out.

BTW, I have a pita pit in my college town. Had one in my last college town too. Nice.

Yes well, I had to put my two cents in eventually.

Hey, my situation was very delicate! I can't just go making out with people that aren't expecting it in public.

cass, i gave you the isolation move, and you blew it.

isolation from public = make out time.

and maybe some light touching.

Actually men's personal body image has been declining almost as fast as women's of late. Men are just by nature to macho to admit it, and have huge campaigns and rally's to boost our moral. We just stay quiet about it.

Of course this isn't a problem for me, I'm a huge man whore. :P

Well, my opinion is that, while some males have an eating disorder, it doesn't matter to most women at all if a man is overweight. Women are mostly looking for emotion in a relationship, men its about the sex. Don't get me wrong, I am not a sexist, but its true. Women tend to be more emotional, wanting affection, and men want the sex.

If you think that's true, you have a very generalized view of the sexes.

Self-confidence and body image is an issue that everyone has to deal with, both female and male. It's not easy when you don't fit the consensus of what the ideal person should look like, or feel uncomfortable in your own skin.

Self-image is one of those tricky things that everyone's got to find their own comfort zone in. It comes to some people more easily than others, but in my experience it's rare to find someone who doesn't have doubts about the way they look at least once in a while. Everyone's under a lot of pressure to look and be a certain way - and to find the internal confidence to say "this is the way I look, and I'm comfortable with it - to heck with everyone else" can be difficult, and sometimes seem overwhelming.

While often addressed soley as a woman's issue, the realization that it's a societal, rather than a gender problem, is slowly developing. Body image is a fickle thing, and no one deserves to feel that their body is inadequate or something to be ashamed of.
