Isn't poutine only veggie if they use veggie gravy?
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

my job is the most ridiculous thing ever. I am a member of the bike water patrol, so we're supposed to go around town on our bikes and let people know about the watering restricitions and then catch them when they don't follow them.

However, we have zero supervision and a company truck. Therefore, we spend hours and hours everyday sleeping or just driving our routes instead of biking them. I was on my bike for two hours today, and that's probably the record for the week. On thursday, I was supposed to start work at 5am, but we didn't even leave my partner's house until 9am. it's crazy, and I get paid 10 bucks an hour.

Summer internships suck - I'm so tired of getting up fricking early and just want to start college again (this'll be my junior year) already...I only have 3 more days of work left this summer, though. And at least the government pays well. I work in solar physics at the US Naval Research Lab.
