Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme X7900 (2.8GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz/800Mhz FSB/6MB cache)

So uh, which is the better of the two? Or rather, which one has the oomph necessary to meet my gaming needs?

Three things:

I forget how to convert flac files to wav files. And I also forget how to convert wav files to mp3s. So, how do I do that?

Secondly, what program besides Itunes can I use to load music onto my ipod. I used to use Ephod for that but since I run Vista now, I can't use Ephod(at least I think I can't) and i don't want to use itunes because it will wipe my ipod clean if I plug it in.

has anyone ever heard of spyware/virus where the computer randomly speaks to you? so far, it's randomly said things like thank you and asked me what i wanted for christmas then a man's voice moaning. i think there were one or two others but i can't remember cause its been like this for 2-3 weeks. i've ran literally every virus and spyware scan and they've come up with nothing. it has even done it before when i'm not even near my computer! i thought i got rid of it cause the voices stopped for a while but then i hear them. ....and that last sentence just made me sound insane. i swear it's real! helllllllllllllllllllp!

Definitley a little freaky to have that going on, never seen or rather heard of that type of junkware myself.

Go to Start -> Run -> and type in 'MSConfig'

Click 'Selective startup' and uncheck 'Load Startup Items'

Restart your PC.

Hopefully this should make it stop but it's still in your system and we need to track it down.

Your MSconfig will probably start back up.
Go to the startup tab and take a screenshot of all of those programs listed.

Post those screen shots up and I can take a look at whats running.

Johnny presumably the song you have for your ipod exist on your computer so why would it be bad if itunes wiped it clean? I am probably missing some dark secret of why we hate itunes.

AIM started singing to me one day - that was really freaky. But once I closed it and restarted it never happened again.

Johnny, try a program called Trader's Little Helper. It will do all the converting you need.

Ummm, file->create new torrent?

From there select the directory, drop the tracker address in the trackers box, then click create and save as...

So easy, even a caveman can do it!

Yes, but I'm Canadian, not a caveman!
