After the whole Regina incident you guys are lucky to have him grace your province.
I'm going to the Winnipeg one is anyone else? i'm kinda bummed cause none of my friends like Matt, at least not anything other then Beautiful midnight. I want to see Limblifter too.

I can't go alone though, that would suck.

Matt, and everyone for that matter, play tons of shows in Ontario, so no complaining. Onatrio people always complain about shows not being "near" them but they don't realize what a close concert really is. If it's within 3 hours that close enough to go without complaining. So when an artist plays 3 shows in the Toronto area, and people complain it annoys the rest of us.

No it was actually back in BM era. Matt was doing an out door festival, and idiots were throwing stuff on stage the entire time, because apparently that's the cool thing to do. And finally someone hit matt in the face with a shoe. He freaked out and started swearing, and calling the fucker out. And then he left the stage 2 songs before scheduled, because the crowd had been assholes all day. The local radio station freaked and started insulting him and boycotted him, and i believed the whole city actually jumped on the bandwagon and he was banned from performing, and boycotted.
Regina have a history of being fucktards though, they did the same to Sum 41 i believe. No offence......but Regina sucks, Saskatoon is where it's at if you have to live in Sask.

but seriously, i hate Regina, such a dirty, worthless city. Again no offence to people living there, it's not your fault of course. How did that place becmoe the capital?
Not to say Winnipeg is great, chances are you'll be stabbed if you go to Winnipeg. They have basically the worst stats for every kind of crime. Homicide Capital, Arson Capital, Car Theft Capital, it continues...

The Tralf is a great place for a show. I saw OLP for the first time there. It's small and intimate. It's too bad I wasn't still living back home or else I'd go to that show.

I'm currently in love with basically everything off of 15 Hours on a September Thursday.
The lyrics are fantastic.
I'd love to hear him play these songs with his current (much more developed) vocals. Sadly, that'll never happen.

I got my chart today. I had to laugh when he said he wanted to record in hotel rooms using just his labtop and call the songs the name of trhe city they were in. That was interesting.
It amazes me how the one person people loved to hate is the one person people love to love....

it would be a cool idea as long as time went into making good songs.

His idea of bad songs are:
All Together
Pony Boy
Rico
Industructable
those are all cool songs

except for Rico which does suck.
He told me that out of the 1000 or so songs he's ever written only 10 of them are good! I wish I'd had a chance to ask him which 10 songs those were. I did get to tell him I disagreed with him though.
And I'm currently in love with 15 Hours ... too. Parable is the one I currently have on repeat, but I'm working through the whole album like that.
*make me slowly in the image of your perfection*

do we know if this US date is confirmed or not b/c its not on his site. Also do you think he is adding other dates in the US before I go and buy these tickets.

That Buffalo date's only on ticketmaster at the moment, not on Matt's site yet. I'm sure in a radio interview I heard he was talking about doing a few US dates, so I'd wait before getting tickets if I were you. I don't think the Buffalo ones are on sale yet anyway are they?
