it's why i chose college
uni is a waste for what i want to do
just extra classes i don't need and i'm not interested in
plus i'm not rich with two parents paying for my uni

i have a friend here from chicago whose parents aren't giving her a cent towards school
or anything else for that matter
and didn't bother to tell her this until halfway through grade 12
so she took out a bunch of loans and came anyway

i pay for my university with money my parents made me save starting from when i was like 14... and that money is paying for my 4 years of uni, my placement in ireland and teachers college...my parents were smart :nod:

My parents aren't really helping me with college. Except for things like car insurance and health insurance. I have loans too. The way I figure it is, I'm working my ass for a decent career, it won't be THAT awful to pay off. I'll be in less debt for an education than I would be for a car.
