you could rip the cd into .wma format and then convert it to mp3 using a mp3 converter (you can find them easily on google- just type "wma mp3 converter")

You can use various different ripping programs.
Winamp Pro works well. Don't ask me how to get it for free though, because Campbell hooked me up.
