Girl has some issues. If guy truly likes girl then guy should talk to girl about what happened all the other times and what will be different this time.

but there's no stigma around a girl liking boys, so you could go around saying that without having to worry about what people think of that. unfortunately, for someone who's gay, it's not that easy.

Yes but just because someone you meet doesn't tell you they're gay right away, what does it make it any of your business? If you make friends with someone, and they happen to be gay, they'll tell you when they want to. Unless you're the type of person that usually demands information from people upon first meeting them?

Nikki - the automatic assumption is that any given individual is heterosexual. I recognize what you're saying and agree that it shouldn't be that way, but nonetheless, when most people meet someone they automatically assume that person is straight until told otherwise.

Last night *Girl* sat with me and me mates, and well, erm.. asked me to go up to her flat to ahem... "Talk"

guess i really have no self control when it comes to this girl, normally i don't go ner an ex as theres usually cause behind them being an ex.

so i'm just gonna have to take it easy and not get attached as quick as i usually do. any advice on doing this, i'm a bit of a softy when comes to the female of the species. hopefully this time things will go better as we did talk alot but then alot of the things she said were said the last time.

That's... not what I'm saying, either. At all.

Sinead was inferring that any gay guy in the world will automatically tell you he's gay, otherwise he's stuck in the closet. I'm simply saying that this is NOT TRUE. Just because someone doesn't automatically tell you something doesn't mean it's a secret they're holding on to and will be completely mortified if it's talked about. :freak:

I never "inferred" it was some sort of automatic process, and you would see that if you actually read what I typed. All I ever said, and maintained, was if someone was gay, they would tell you, when they WANTED TO, and when they were READY to.
