We get horrible driving conditions as much as the next province but do we get show days? No. :(

We rarely get snow days here, either.

In the southern states, if a few fucking flakes fall, they get a snow day.

We have six feet of snow and blizzard warnings and no snow day.

A few years ago there was enough snow to comfortably walk up to the roof of our school.
Generally we brave through it for the sake of saying we did, but then when there is an "expected" snowfall the schools close down. Our system sucks.

And on the plus side there are a few extra days this year in our school year to make up for all the snow days.

We usually don't cancel school here for anything. I hadn't had a snow day since 8th grade until right before Christmas. That was so grand...

Damn you ATT&T, die!

Its got cold here last night.

-47 without windchill. Unfortunalty there was a windchill lastnight so I'm guessing that the windchill factor was -54 or -55

And I can't really blame them... Southern drivers suck enough when the road is clear and the sun is shining. Can you imagine them in any type of bad weather?? (Also they have no plows)
