Hey Nikki, Where is this WINE-INN you talk about.

Oh you said whining. Never Mind

also I don't know who said it, but OLP can't sell out stadiums in the USA or Europe. Maybe in Canada. They can't even play an Arena here yet. I mean the biggest place that OLP have headlined in the states was between 3-5 thousand if even. They usually play 1-2 thousand venues.

To be fair, very few bands can play anything bigger than that. Hell even Incubus needs the Vines help to try and sell out small arenas (which they're not doing). Bands that are supposed to be big like Offspring, Puddle of Mudd and Jet are all playing real small venues, mostly clubs. And anyone remember P.O.D?... they're playing a venue that is about the size of my living room in Rochester.

So it's not just OLP, it's every band these days. In fact unless you're DMB, Radiohead, U2, or The Who, you're probably not going to sell out a stadium.... especially if you're charging $70 for a ticket.

That's surprising - over here both the Offspring and Incubus are playing arenas - Incubus with more than one night in the same city. Jet are up to 5,000 capacity places.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I was answering someone who posted that. I think they meant arenas, but said stadiums. Not many bands can play a stadium(80,000) or better. Where as Areana(15,000-20,000) bands can play.

I was saying that OLP can't play a big venue in the states, where in Canada they can.

Incubus is playing the areana when they come to NYC later this month. In the summer the smaller venues get alot of acts cause they are outdoors.

look at this. Sting, Rod Stewart, Alanis Morrisette, David Bowie, Aerosmith. etc. are playing smaller venues this summer, but can sell out an areana

In Toronto this summer, DMB, Deep Purple, Blink 182, Rush, The Pixies, Britney Spears, Shania Twain, Madonna, and Evanescence have all sold out arenas and amphitheatres.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?
