do not attempt a rook piercing on your own .. it's impossible to see what you're doing for one thing considering where the rook is placed .. even a professional piercer takes their time with rook piercings ..

mine either .. i can't have a rook and a daith in the same ear and i prefer rook piercings over a daith ..

so does any one has their ears disked? I definately want to get it done, but i'm going the wait until my parents have a little less influence on my life. I mean, I'm almost 20, so I could just do it, but it would just make things difficult w/ the folks.

i'm 20 in less than 2 weeks and my dad still doesn't know about my ear piercings and i have had them for 8 months. if he saw them, he would probably make me take them out. i'm almost 20 years old dammit.

ohh. i am in the process of very slowly stretching my ears. jewlery is too expensive, and hard to find in my area. i have to go downtown if i want good jewlery.

Dude. I got my ears pierced on tuesday, nothing fancy, just regular earlobes.
Man. It hurt worse than piercing my nose! And they are still sore. My nose wasn't really sore at all. Crazy.

there's a neat chart here for gauging your ears:

http://www.biglobemafia.com/main.html

Just click on "gauge to MM chart" for the different sizes

my earlobes hurt more than my rook and industrial. i honestly thought i was going to pass out after i got my earlobes pierced, but i was fine after i got my rook and industrial. i'm weird. :freak:

that is weird. I think my earlobes maybe might have hurt more than my nose because they were pierced at 14 gauge and my nose is 18.
I thought it was kinda weird he wanted to pierce them so big, but he said i can still wear regular earrings once they're healed and it won't look funny.
