Finding great friends in this life is exceptionally difficult.

I must be extremely lucky then, because I have come by and kept a handful of amazing friends. Friends I know I can count on for anything. I remember when I didn't have them though, and you just have to keep trying. Good people that make great friends are out there. It takes so much work to build those ties though.

Dear money,

Why won't you start reproducing asexually? I need more of you. Not because I'm greedy, just so I can finish my education. Please! You know you wanna.

sometimes you're just nice to people you consider your friends, and you don't get anything back because they just don't care about you as much as you care about them. it happens, and in time you come to your own decision on whether or not you want to keep doing what you're doing for them.

See, this were my apparently good friends.....and um some members of my family.

Almost the opposite happened to me. Everyone remembered, and sent me messages and stuff. But there's no one around at all.
I've tried to contact like, eight people. But here I am still sitting at the computer.

:O is today your birthday??

It was!

awww, well, happy belated birthday!! *fwee!* *throws confetti in the air*

Dear My Central Air,

Why the hell did you have to stop working on the hottest bleepin' weekend of the year so far?

You really made it quite uncomfortable for me to sleep these past few nights.

No love whatsoever,
Me

Dear group of friends,

I've known you for over three years, and yet not a single one of you knows my phone number?
And there was no other possible way to contact me last night?
Right. Thanks.

Yeah, I know how that goes.
My friend moved out of state and couldn't even call me to say goodbye. By the way, I've known him since we were 8. We are 23 now.

Dear friend,

Why is that I have known you for *counts* going on 13 years now, and I have never once even been invited to your cottage? You've brought everone else, even the guy whom you hated until recently. Come to think of it, how do you struggle so much to remember my birthday and why do you never call, and why does it feel that you only ever make plans with me when you need something from me? It's like you hang out with every flavour of the week but me. 13 years and I have never even been a flavour? I don't even know what to think.

Dear Sun,
Hows it going? Perhaps a midlife crisis? maybe? You wanna take a break and have an ice age for a little while?
Cause seriously I wouldn't mind if it ment I wouldn't get burned by you anymore. And hey, everyone needs a break, right?
Let me know if you are going out so that I can not.

...not that I don't want to hang with you, but you can be a douche sometimes.

Sincerly, Sarah

dear tonsels,

way to suck. now i have to have you cut out of my mouth.
if only you hadn't made me sick, we could have stayed together.
so i guess this is a good bye letter.
i'm not going to miss all those times you got inflamed and decided to be big jerks. i'm not going to miss all those times you made me sick, scratched at my throat and distorted my voice.
i'm really not going to miss you.
it's over.

sincerely,
katie!

Dear movie gods,

Did I piss you off? I mean honestly, I'm so bored I would settle for anything. So my friend is bored too, but I can I see a movie with her? No. Why not? Because then I would need to find another girl to come as well so that her boyfriend doesn't get jealous. Her boyfriend has been my best friend since grade 1. I've known her since grade 1. I've known them each for 13 years. I mean come on! There is nobody else around, but because of this agreement they have, she can't go out. A little trust wouldn't kill them. I mean, honestly, I just want someone to sit with and talk to for a bit so I don't have to sit there alone. I'm not trying to steal his girl or anything, I'm just bored and trying to see a movie. Damn you movies!

sincerley,

me
