why am I reading this after a night of drinking?

ahahahah because I am Kruno....

anyway... if you don't believe in a religion, you don't have to be athiest or agnostic...

the more I learned about religion the more I didn't want to be part of it.

Da Vinci Code.... brilliant.... I have the painting it's based on in my kitchen... not the real one of course lol. Tom Hanks is starring in the movie version... I can't wait!!!! Read the Celestine Prophecy or the Conversations with God books if you liked the Da Vinci Code... really!

Is there a way to private message someone on here?

I thought being an atheist was when you believed in no religion. :freak:

after reading the Da Vinci code, it made me question my beliefs and I really didn't know what to believe anymore.

I hope you looked into all of the things that made you question it though, just because of that book. I've heard of alot of people around here not reading it or not letting kids read it because of that. I think that is retarded. For one thing, alot is stretched to make the plot as interesting as possible. Second, it's a good kind of questioning. I read it and I have no problem with sticking to my religion because of it. I thought it really reflected a better image of our society, so I took a broader view of it.

Anyhow, I was brought up mormon, my parents took me to church. They never were the most active and still aren't. Even though I'm srue non mormons would think they are very strict  When I was in high school I didn't think about it and didn't really even go. After that I started having a tough time and had to figure out what I thought and here I am. I am very happy with it and am alot more active than either of my parents.

I read the Da Vinci Code...so so so over-rated. I find it to be extremely poorly written, and it's such a publishing powerhouse. I just can't wrap my head around it. In my eyes, Da Vinci Code is Dan Brown's worst book. Read Angels & Demons.

I dunno Lori... that hotel room ain't big enough for the both of us!

The Celestine Prophecy is probably one of my favourite books of all time. I really enjoyed reading it... found it especially inspiring because I read most of it while I was at a cottege on a lake.

I think when you're agnostic you kinda have no real opinion on the whole religion thing... it's when you are athiest that you don't believe in anything.

amazing how us humans can't even get something as simple as living right.

all in good time, we'll get it right :)
