(1952) says:
see my problem is that the guy I would like to start something with I can't because we both signed a contract with the drama department
happeninfish says:

(1952) says:
signed a contract....no interdating within the team or within any cast group unless it begins before you arrive at auditions
happeninfish says:
ok, i'm not gonna lie to you, that's a little bit creepy... you'd think by university you would be able to handle yourself
(1952) says:
yeah, but some people can;t and they ruin it for others
happeninfish says:
especially with all the strictness about being physical
(1952) says:
my goodness...but in acting class you get to break rules... this guy and I did a romantic scene as our final project....we present this week
happeninfish says:
cheaters!
(1952) says:
lets just say I get to hold his hand then he proposes marraige to me
(1952) says:
its really cute and we have great acting chemistry
happeninfish says:

happeninfish says:

Depends on the girl. If she's really girly she might enjoy bath stuff, but not all girls do. Personally I hate getting soap since that's what EVERYONE resorts to when they don't know what else to get. No chocolate either.

Do something personal for her to show you actually put thought into it. How long have you known her? If you don't know her that well then the usual soap/chocolate is okay but if this is a good friend then put more thought into it. What does she like to do?

well all of those have never failed me. Considering it's only a friend that he is buying for I don't think he wants to send the wrong message.

Girls always get candles, and bath stuff and smelly stuff, and I know that I really don't want any of that crap. I mean, some girls do but it's definately not high on my list. Unless they have ever shown that they enjoy that crap, I'd say its a pretty impersonal gift.

Well, I'm currently regestered for 8 courses.
Bloody waitlists.
Its only like 20 days after registration began and every class I would want to get into is closed or full. So now that I've changed my mind, the only alternative is to get into something worse. Stupid courses...

Well the thing is, I don't get the opportunity to see or talk with her. I only get to see her a few times a year which is a shame because she is such a cool person.

And when I see her, its usually when theres a party and things like that.

Well if you only see her a few times a year then just get something small .. if you aren't very close with her and don't know that much about her then I guess you could get away with something sort of impersonal. I still say no chocolates and no smelly shit .. maybe a gift certificate to a music store and a nice card? Everyone loves music and that way she can pick out what she wants.

At the cafe tonight during a conversation with two of the waitresses (mother and daughter, Tammy and Nikki) and a little boy:
Nikki: How old am I?
Little boy: 24? 23?
Tammy: *21*
Little boy: 21!
Nikki: That's right.
Tammy: Now how old am I?
Little boy: 26!
Tammy: That is exactly right!
