woah....yesterday every province in canada had some sort of weather warning. Like a blizzard warning or wind warning or something. Thats crazy.

some do. i just checked, forensics was cancelled today. calc, the prof doesn't put the notes online and psych, the notes are always online.

I dont "get" snow days. Why do they exist? There is no such thing as a snow day here in Sk, so why are there snow Days in Ontario?

Snow days are days on which schools (and sometimes businesses) are closed due to dangerous driving conditions due to snow.

We don't get snow here. Well, we don't get snow here for 363 days a year. And those 2(-3 ?) days of snow that we DO get have already happened. Now it's just 'mildly raining'... a "shower" if you will.
If Vancouver got a winter warning, it was probly about the wind and/or slight rain.
The last time North Vancouver got a snow day was in 1996.
