This one is good though... from left to right there's Jo-Ann, Kyle, my neighbour Elaina and my twin sister Alyssa
http://www.arksoft.8m.com/olp%20concert.jpgAhhhh the guy behind my sis is scaring me

Dude, I don't even remember that at all!

Who took it?
Man, I must have elbowed Elaina so many times. Josh, next time you see her, can you apologize for me?
Ah, memories.
Kyle
Hehe I'll do that for ya Kyle... I can't remember when exactly that pic was taken, all I remember is that it was taken by a very surly looking security guard

I'm supposed to be writing 4 articles of a total of 5000 words about baseball for my professional project for my masters degree. This is due in late September. I was supposed to spend the summer writing it.
Instead, I've seen Great Big Sea four times in three different states and one province, Boyce's Road and the Young Dubliners three times, Seven Nations twice, BNL, Brothers Creeggan, Kevin Hearn and Thin Buckle, the Flashing Lights, Carbon Leaf, Train and Howie Day (well, I went to see Howie Day, and I saw Kay Hanley instead). Those haven't all been separate concerts. And I'm playing a lot of computer games and watching a lot of TV.
Go me. I need motivation.

8:35am-9:00am Dumping limbs/trunk at the recycling center
9:00am-9:30am Droping off the truck at U-Haul, and watching a bunch of employees yell at eachother. Here's a transcript (

)
Rob - Employee
Dad - My dad
George - Employee
Boss - Boss
Prices are not correct. They're just what I'm estimating now.
*My dad and I walk to the store from the truck*
Rob: Hi. I've got to check the kilometers and gas level
Dad: Okay. *hands the keys over*
Rob: *Checks the truck, hands us a slip of paper*
*My dad and I walk into the store*
George: (with an attitude) Okay. *Types* That'll be $54.23
Dad: No it won't.
George: Yes, it's $54.23
Dad: No. Try it again. $20 for the truck. $8.65 for the kilometers.
George: Plus insurance.
Dad: No. I said before I rented it that I didn't want insurance.
George:
Dad:
George: Damn that Rob. He didn't check the truck right.
Me: (thinking) WTF? He put the right kilometers and gas level. He didn't do squat. You screwed up, George. You ass.
George: I'll be right back. *Goes outside and starts yelling at Rob, for no apparent reason*
Boss (to another employee): What's wrong here?
Other employee: George has an attitude problem...
Boss: Damnit. *Walks outside*
*Boss and George walk back into the store*
Boss: He didn't do anything wrong. Why'd you go out and yell at him?
George: IF YOU'D DO YOUR JOB, HE'D KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING! WHEN YOU'RE NOT HERE, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. ALL OF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE IDIOTS. IF YOU WANT THEM TO KNOW WHAT TO DO, YOU WORK HERE EVERY DAY AND TRAIN THEM. UNTIL THEN I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEIR STUPIDITY!!!
Boss: George, come into here... (back room)
Rob: *Walks into the store, hearing George's rant* You didn't have to yell at me like that. I know what I'm doing.
George (to Boss): SEE? HE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT HE DID WRONG!
*Continues ranting (yelling) randomly*
Boss (from back room): SHUT THE FUCK UP, GEORGE!
George: *Shuts the fuck up* *goes into back room*
Rob: *Goes into back room*
*Inaudable yelling ensues*
Dad: Can I get some god damned service here?
Other employee: Yes sir, sorry. *Does the computer thing correctly* That'll be $blahblahblah$.
Dad: That's better. Oh, by the way, that's a nice show to put on for customers...
Other employee: Yeah, I know. Sorry about that. He's (George's) got a problem... (other employees laugh, and nod)
*My dad and I walk out*
*Other employees also walk out to have a smoke*
*George comes out*
George (to other employees): YOU! FROM NOW ON, I AM GOING TO BE COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM YOU! TAKE ME OFF YOUR CELL PHONES, TAKE ME OFF EVERYTHING. FROM NOW ON, WHEN I'M HERE, I'M NOBODY!
Other employees: *Snicker*
*My Dad and I drive away*

Entertainment at it's best!

My little brother goes to this super preppy all boys high school, and he has to wear a tie, so my mom and I went to the local thrift store to buy him some (ties are super expensive). OMG...I found my dream coat there!!!! It's so awesome! It's a long coat with a belt, and has big brown pockets and a collar....and the best part is that the fabric is like a lime green/fuschia/brown design. oooh, and it has these gigantic big spherical black buttons too. My mom thinks it's just about the ugliest thing she's ever seen, but I love it.
oh yeah, I got this sweet flowery polyester shirt.
I love thrift stores, they have the coolest things there.

ahhh!! I broke my computer yet again.

As I was cleaning the keyboard, I accidentally popped one of the letters out....I've done that before with my desktop, but this is my laptop, and I have no clue how to get the letter back in. Is there a way to fix this myself, or do I have to call up Dell and have somebody fix it???
Me and computers definitely don't mix. :|

hmm there's no way you can just jam it back in? that's my method of fixing things beating them until they work again. sometimes it works
my thing for today:
k so i walked in my room and my window was open, and i heard this really loud scratchy/gnawing sound, so i'm like 'oh great, what kind of freaky creature is outside my room now?' (last time it was a rabid racoon). so i go and look out and... it was an evil squirrel!! he was chewing a nut and staring right in my window... little bastard! i know he's scheming to invade my room and take control over my brain.. well he can't have it! :grr:
