There's an extension for Vegas/Premiere called Plural Eyes. It helps sync clips usually to the exact frame or within a frame or two. Saves a lot of time trying to line them up. Catch is, it usually fails syncing a mono source to a stereo source. Also, if you don't have AAV Color Lab for Vegas you should grab it too. Still, nice job!

Didn't know about Plural Eyes... Baffles me how technology works, being able to sync them up, that is. Gonna have to go test that out. Might come in handy with some work I'm doing.

And shit, I used have Color Lab until a computer crash. Forgot about that completely. That's a must reinstall.

Rob Sheridan, NIN's creative director, recommended it in a Twitter post about a year and a half ago. I never tested it out until recently, but it's very handy. It works by aligning the audio clips together. So if you have a master audio track, and some video clips to sync it to, it works to line them up based on the audio. As I said, it usually fails syncing mono and stereo tracks. Otherwise, a handy utility. I think I still have the installer and the file that tests the security of it  if you need it.

It might be strange to get Raine's solo work and a new OLP record so close together.

I wouldn't think that they'd be released so close to each other. From a sales point of view, you never want to compete with yourself... Also, writing an album is usually a full time job. I'm sure he might get little bits of inspiration that he tucks away for his solo work while recording for OLP... but there are only so many hours in a day (and so many braincells too). I would guess his solo album would release a few months after the Bands.

well .com will be all things OLP - news, photos, videos, shows, social links, etc etc - so when olp puts out a new record then olp.com will definitely reflect that. As for .net - well we don't know yet, lots of ideas as to what to create - once .com is done we can begin to think about that - I think it will deff be more cryptic and more of an experience for users/fans - what that entails is still contained in a bunch of random thoughts and ideas as of right now.;)

NOW I NEED YOUR HELP (well some of you at least) I am going to need to test this new site out soon - and who better to test it then some die hard OLP fans right?. So let's do this....why don't you tell me 3 reasons why I am so awesome and whoever posts the best 3 reasons will get on the beta testing team and get a sneak peek at the site and can have a hand in making sure the site is up to crazy monkey people standards before we launch it...anyone interested?

p.s - i was kidding about the tell me why im awesome part - but feel free to do it :) - but I would like a few people from here to help me test it - these people should be pretty well versed in all things internet and should at least have a computer that was purchased in the last 3 years - I'm not too interested in making the site look and behave perfectly on out of date systems/browsers/OS etc. Testing on mobile devices is a plus and feedback should be well thought out and concise - screen grabs of layout issues/bugs are a plus

If you interested and think you are up tot he task then PM and we go from there.

IE still claims over 50% of the market share by some estimates, so it's probably not best to ignore it at all.
