there were 3 songs taken off BM for the US release and 3 from GC put on in their place.
I can't be the only one wondering how the word Underdogs can be abbreviated to GC can I?
My bad I was thinking of something else with the CD title.
anyway the songs taken off were
I Miss New Wave, Let's Go All The Way, and Let's Get It On.
They put on Apparations, Deep Six and Everything is AUtomatic. THe songs after Jeni are mixed a bit. I found the USA version last night.
I was trying to find His book. I bought it years ago. tomorrow we see MG(yeah)

It's kind of sad, but I was in Toronto this week and I finally bought Avalanche. I really love that Cd. And its too bad that I wasn't in Toronto this week, I could get his new cd. I heard Alert Status Red and his interview on the Edge, and then saw the video on Much later that day

Too bad I couldnt go to 1 of the 3 day shows in Toronto.

I heart Matt Good.
I wish he would tour the U.S. around the Northeast part and it be an all ages show. I'd drive anywhere east of the Mississippi River to see him...

I ordered mine from amazon. The cd's are priced better if you go through his website/maple, but I don't know about delivery time. I have second day delivery on mine from amazon and it's aboot 35 dollars roughly for the cd and shipping.

I don't remember if this was put on here or not, but WLRNR REVIEW comes out in a DiGI-Pak also. I preorder my CD thru MapleMusic. I am here till Tuesday afternoon so I am going to a record store to get a digi-pak.
I know HMV, AMAZON and MAPLEMUSIC will ship to the states. I know my cd came out to be $23 and some Change(CA) for shipping to the states through Maple Music
I saw Matt last night in Ottawa(going again tonight). All I can say is I love the new songs. I don't know what they sound like on CD, but live were amazing. I can't wait to get teh new cd.
Now aobut the live show. I got there early to try to meet MAtt(which we did) He was really nice and friendly. My friend and I were wearing our CBGB shirts. Matt and Rich asked us if the club was still open. They said they heard it was closed for renovatoins. I said it is stil open. I also asked him if he would ever come back down to the states that there are alot of fans in the states who can't come up to Canada. He said he is working on it. He also said if he could he play NYC all the time. I wish.
Here are the songs they did last night.
Bad Idea(new),Put out your lights(new), Poor man's grey(new), Giant(amazing live), Weapons, Alert Red Status(new), North America for Life(new), Little Terror(new),Blue Skies over Bad Lands(new), Load me Up into Time Bomb(which he let the audience sing most of the song-ala 4AM ), Ex-Pats Of the Blue Mountain Sympathy Orchestra, (new)
Encores:
Apparations( which he did with just an accoustic guitar and himself)
Near Fantasica
, Empty raod.
Overall the show was amazing. We were front row. Dead center of Matt. I have to say it was great to be inthe front and not deal with Crowd Surfers, Moshers etc. We could actually watch the show. Right before he didd Alert Red Status he showed things that fans gave him. One of the things wasa doll with weapons and it was a female. He went into a whole story on that. It was funny(but not if you think of what they are selling you)
As Isaid the new songs were amazing. I thought I really loved Avalanche. This one is up there also.
SooZ- I told Matt one of his Uk fans was coming over to see him in AB. He thought that was cool and said to tell you to come over and say Hi to him. So there you go, he is expecting you.YOu will alsol be pleasently surpised when you see who is working on this tour. Shawn & Tim. It was funny cause when we were parking the car I saw this guy.I said to my friend that looks like Shawn. When we walked over, he was Hi Gail and I spoke with him for awhile. He is working the MG tour, then going to Simple Plan for the Warped tour. Anyway you have to walk up to Matt and say Hi. I told him you were a big fan.
and as for OLP- they are still in the studio and going to do only a handful of shows in late summer. Nothing else is scheduled at the moment. It may be awhile before we see a real tour.

If anyone has hub access, we have 2 of his recent concerts shared, and a handful of other bootlegs as well. Great stuff, I'm excited for the album. Gail, you should have told him to come to northeast Tennessee so I can see him play

Lame Songs: Put Out Your Lights, Poor Man's Grey, North American For Life
Average Songs: Little Terror, It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man
Good Songs: Alert Status Red, Blue Skies..., In Love With A Bad Idea
Great Songs: Empty Road, Buffalo Seven, Expats...
Masterpieces: We're So Heavy
Of course, I haven't heard the actual album together (most of it is based off the premier), so this doesn't mean much. It's more of a 'cheap, pre-review' type thing.

I have only heard "Alert Status Red". Which I think is a really good song. I love when Matt incorporates "heavy rock" into his music. I'm going to have to order the new cd.
