I remember waiting in line to see See Spot Run & IME in Peterborough back in 2000.
This girl in line is like "Do you like IME?" and I'm like "Who?".
She's like "IME."
I still have a confused look of my face.
My girlfriend at the time is like "I Mother Earth."
I didn't feel very smart. Curse acronyms, they will pay.
I really only knew IME from One More Astronaut and I never heard their name shorten.

Like the Sun. Their most popular single from their last album. Awesome song.
Definately download some songs at your liesure. Just keep in mind that there have been two vocalists, so don't get confused when the vocals sound different. heh
Edwin did vocals on their first two albums, "Dig" and "Scenery and the Fish".
Brian did vocals on their latter two albums, "Blue Green Orange" and "The Quicksilver Meat Dream".

They did a short concert awhile ago for a sympatico webcast.
It was pretty awesome, but also very heavy with TQMD matrial, so if people don't like it don't give up on IME Edwin era stuff is totally diffrent

Just discovered this thread about my favourite band in the world and felt I had to chime in....even if I am a bit late.
The meaning of the song Good for Sule was mentioned on here awhile back and I believe there was a misinterpretation of the lyrics. Apparently Christian was watching some nature show on a tribal village and there was this kid named Sule.... he had to go on some sort of personal quest in order to become a man.... That's the basis of the song. Methinks Christian was mighty stoned when he came up with it.
I was front row dead center for the taping of the webcast. I believe you can see me throughout the whole video(I'm the guy with the shaggy long curly hair). The performance was pretty damn awesome, but the mix on the recording could be a little better.
Are any of you guys on the IME board?
