Movies
Anyone around here see Queen of the Damned? I was considering renting it, but I don't know if its going to be good...
by the way, if you thought The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen looked retarded by the trailers (like I did), its actually a good movie. I saw it over the weekend and loved it.
I also saw The Prince and Me over the weekend. It is just like a modern day cinderella, except the prince is gorgeous and has a hot accent

I just saw Queen of the Damned. I did like it, but I have no prior book knowledge to criticize it on.
That movie should have had 2 things:
1. A warning label reading: WARNING: MAY CAUSE EXTREME HORNINESS AND THE CRAVING TO TIE MALE BEINGS TO BEDPOSTS
2. More sex.
sorry for my .... umm.... perverted-ness

overall i thought it was a cool sci-fi movie.

Soooo..... What are you doin' tomorrow night?

hahaha
... umm no.
Anyway,.... I saw the United States of Leland today. It was excellent. If you like movies that really are not full of action and hot guys/ girls but like movies that really mean something, you should see it. I actually only heard about it yesterday, due to lack of advertising, and decided to see it. The movie really got to me in a personal way. I hope, if any of you see it, you'll feel the same way. I do not want to give anything away, but here is a brief description.
A young 15-year old boy, Leland, kills another kid and goes to jail for some time. His teacher, an author, wants to write a book about him. Leland sees the world from a point which no one else does. The movie is a description of what life means to him, and his believes. Most of them are very, very realistic. I definitely give it a 10 of 10 stars.
Honorable mentions:
Don Cheadle - The Family Man
Ryan Gosling - Murder by Numbers, Remember the Titans
Chris Klein - The American Pie Trilogy, Here on Earth
Jena Malone - Donnie Darko
Lena Olin - Chocolat, Queen of the Damned
Kevin Spacey - Pay It Forward
