do you honestly think it will stop because a few people stop smoking?

no, its not going to.

yeah you'll have some legitimate buisnesses, but for the most part the price of smuggled weed will be cheeper. as we all know, cheeper is better. not only that but that cuts into the cost of drug gangs. where are they going to make up their money? harvesting organs. now just because the US would legalize it that doesn't mean Mexico will. and the same damn thing is gonna happen. this isn't a one time incident shit like this has been going on since 2000. they just recently killed the Mexican equivalent to the head of SWAT in Nuevo Laredo. they shot him 50+ times to prove a point. people you don't know dieing for your habbit. justify it.

little kids are workign their asses off in indochina to make clothes and shoes

the same ones you wear everyday

justify it.

gladly. they're making money, be it slave wages, non the less money.
of course my shoes are red wings, made in the USA.

and even if that pertained to me, i'm not killing anyone, your habbit is. so c'mon man justify it.

those little kids live in horrible conditions and alot of them DO die.

drug runners are gonna make money however they can.

once again , ITS HOW THE WORLD WORKS , GET OVER IT

none of this statement justifys it. yes drug runners are going to try and make money. if the demand was not there they'd make money elsewhere. if there was no demand for weed in the US there would be less killing and kidnapping to supply your habbit. the US is the number 1 user in the continent, and it just so happens mexico is the number 1 supplier. that's not coincidence.

the point was you are also using items that cause problems for other people

effectively making you a hypocrite.

reno, the system creates this violence, not the product. we used to have the same situation with ALCOHOL (remember prohibition). we don't anymore. why?

it was legalized.

this is not rocket science. allow it to come above ground and everything you just described goes away. it's a demand drive industry reno. the war on drugs only attacks the supply.

thank you for backing up my point man

but the problems i create don't happen to start turf wars amongst drug gangs and kidnapping.

it doesn't matter if it's legalized chris, there's still going to be a demand for cheeper smuggled pot. the regular junkie is not going to pay for calvin klein pot, he's gonna buy alot of the cheep stuff, just like a drunk that buys $50 worth of the cheep shit, instead of the one $50 refined bottle of booze.

so there is cheaper shit available

its just like tobacco

theres the marlboros, camels, parliaments that cost around 3.25 a pack then theres the cheaper ones that cost 1.50 a pack

it would be the same way with weed.

if you cant afford the KB , you buy the mids

and if this were to ever be the case, the smuggled stuff would sell for much cheeper.

in case you haven't noticed medicines in mexico are cheeper, and everyone with access to the border goes over there instead. there's generic drugs that are cheeper then the brand name here in the states, however in mexico the brand name sells for less then the generic price. the same would be true about pot.

its true about everything

i could smuggle electronics from hong kong and indo china at a very small price. anything available on the market is always available cheaper through illegal means.

why would you smuggle electronics? it's not illegal to have electronics in your possession.

the medicines in Mexico are not illegal, it's legal there to sell perscription medicine over the counter. people buy them by the truck load, smuggle them over and sell it illegally here. because there's a demand for the abuse of these perscription drugs. just like the abuse of pot.

and you don't think if i smuggled electronics over here and sold them out of the back of a truck i wouldn't get arrested?

I can't believe we have a thread about weed... it's one thing to do it which really isn't all that cool anyways, but then to go brag and talk about how you smoke up just isn't cool.
