God I wish I'd seen that show, but I could really justify going coz I'd just seen Tool the night before, and it was midterm season (or was it finals, I can't remember). This was also before QMD came out so I wasn't uber into them yet, I had heard Juicy, and the singles off the other albums, but nothing other than that.

i went to the toronto show on that tour, the mtv2 campus invasion tour dealie.. billy talent was really cool.. 30stm was AMAZING and well.. as for IME.. brian hanging upside down from some pipe in the rafters of palais royale while singing "rain will fall" is quite a scene. altho he looked like a chick when he first came out on stage.. heh

he had like.. um.. longish hair yes.. and like.. a bandana on top of it.. and his hair was in pigtails.. and yeah.. he looked like a chick at first glance.. so i made fun of him to my friend (a huge IME fan) and he got pissed at me and i went with it for a while as a joke..

I've got some rough demos done but I don't really know how to make them available. Do you think I should just put them on the hub?

no, I forgot. Tuesday I'm heading back to my parents' house (were I have direct connect). I'll put them up then assuming I don't forget again.

Also my band has just gotten a producer. He's the bass player from this local band that we really like. So, we should be starting production soon on an EP.

so I just joined this totally cool choir (who'da thunk it) and I'm planning on writing a choral arrangement for 'good for sule', does anyone know what this song is about?

Back in the summer of '99 (..seems like ages ago!) I remember hearing a radio interview they did on Edge 102.1 (it was the world album premiere for "Blue Green Orange")... anyways, the guys mentioned that "good for sule" was about a close friend of theirs who passed away... quite a powerful song, one of my all time favourites... it would be very interesting to hear this song sung by a choir.

Yeah "Good For Sule" just proves that even back in the old days Brian still had an amazing voice
