Which are you getting (at www.marshallamps.com)? And, if you don't mind my asking... how much?

Although I'm not spending the same as crazy ole John did, I'm getting a new amp.

It's been ordered, and should be here in a week.

It is this:

On sale for $575. Plus, my parents have agreed to pay $100 of it, as a reward for a good report card.

I've only got a little Crate 15-Watt amp right now, so it's a big upgrade.

Plus, I'll have a few awesome effects to play along with Steve's new stuff (Not Afraid bridge, new Starseed solo, etc...).

oooo i have a question!

do left haned people need left handed guitars or are they all the same?

my friend said it would be weird for me to play a normal one cause the dials are in the wrong place ...?

It depends on how you want to play guitar.

There are left-handed guitars, but that has little to do with what hand you use regularily. For example, I'm right handed, but I play baseball like a lefty. It's just the way I like it. Go into a music store and ask for some help, tell them you're a lefty (and a newbie to guitars) but you're not sure how you'd play guitar. Hopefully they'll help you out.

And I don't see what dials have to do with what hand you use.

Actually, a lot more work is done with the left hand as a right handed guitarist, unless you play classical.

it seems more natural for me to play as a lefty. anytime i've picked up my friends' guitars i've always been lefty.

it probly makes no difference for aucoustic though does it? cause that's what i'm looking at getting next week

Yeah, it does. You'd have to get a lefty guitar, if that's the way you play.
