The fact that this "Britney Hater" sounds like every other pop sudo teenie bop shit that all the other artists seem to thrive on lately doesn't really bother me. In one year when she had her 2 or 3 hit songs, she'll dissappear back to her hole and never be heard of again. Proof of this can be found that Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson haven't done shit since their 1st hits.

she doesn't sound like every other pop bimbo out there

bubble gum pop is more techno and hip hop

avril's music is alternative pop rock

Today was "celebrity" day at my school, and no one dressed at all. Except for about thirty girls that dressed up as Avril Lavigne. Oy, I just want her to go away!

I have a thought. And it is just a thought, so don't take it too seriously if you disagree. But I believe that everyone out there who is preaching about how much they hate Avril is simply adding to the craze that is her. It seems to me that the more everyone says that they hate her, the more her fans are going to come to her defense. I think if all the Avril haters truly do want her to simply disapear, you're not helping your cause by telling everyone that you hate her. By saying anything about Avril Lavigne (good or bad) you are helping her become recognized. I think it just comes down to the old saying that all publicity is good publicity.

So next time you want to bash Avril Lavigne, just think that your probably helping her more than anything.

Just a thought.

She can put on a tuxedo and top hat but she's still going to be a Britney wannabe to me. Her fans are the same fans as all the other pop crap that's out there. Her cds are bought by the same people that buy the other Top 10 stuff like Pink.

So you admit she's a pop bimbo?

ugh. it's power pop. some people like it, some people don't.

i'd probably have no problem with her if i didn't find her image and the vast majority of her listeners to be so offensive. it's overexposure, in my opinion, when i go to the bar and see 4 girls who i know as queen whores from high school all wearing fucking ties.

if she wasn't the most popular artist since linkin park i bet alot of you wouldn't hate her as much as you do. i know lots of people who "liked her before she was on the radio".

I like her, but I don't go around wearing ties
