What do you expect? Matt Good to release something like Gravity?

Great! RFH is closing! Can anyone fill me in? What happened that caused the closing of their site?

Matt's ego most probably. I think he's gone too far this time - Tyler put so much effort into that place.
RFH RIP.

Matt does make a habit of alienating his supporters.

defying, do you know what happened and would you care to tell us? Some says it's Matt's fault and some says it's Tyler. I haven't heard anymore more than what's posted on the APA yesterday, anything before that I'm not aware of. So can you give us Matt's side of the story?
I've always respected Matt Good, he can go ahead and diss Nickelback and OLP because what he said is true. But this time he may have gone too far, I've never heard of the whorrible incident and why would he sue his own fansite that doesn't want him to post his manifestos. I doubt that he would win if he actually brought the case to the court. But hey, I only know one side of the story so far, so please fill us in and tell us what you know.

I have no idea to be perfectly honest.
Matt is going through a stage where he wants to exist totally out of the spotlight in order to record his albums without constant questions about what the new songs sound like (fair enough). Matt therefore has decided he doesn't want to give RFH any more access and has effectively cut off Tyler (RFH webmaster).
I might be wrong though.

Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.
If he doesn't want people to ask him the progress of the album, just say so! Say that he will no longer reveal any more info about the album and everyone on RFH will leave him alone! Or maybe he can just not go on the internet for a month and get his work done. What he's doing now is basically saying "Don't be my fans, don't run a fansite for me, don't support me, but buy my new album that's coming soon" What kinda fucked up logic does he have anyway?

no no, not at all. I just mean, listening to song after song, they all start to sound alike.

I completely agree. That is "complete crap from beginning to end".
just like his book

Yeah. If I didn't rely on his music I would boycott his next CD (yeah right).
Matt's side to the story goes like this - he agreed for his record company to host RFH for free but this generated a $3000 bandwith bill which Tyler could not (or presumed did not need to) pay. Complicated because we're not really getting the entire story...

I realised a while ago that it's best to just not care about the actual people behind the music.. unless they're really horrid people. Matt Good's just a guy who doesn't like fame, and he's more than a bit of an ass. But for God's sake! The music is kick ass!

RFH is closed...
I agree with you Joe, it's best not to know what goes behind the scenes, just like the Bob/Raine dispute and now Matt Good. From now on I'll just support them by buying their music and nothing else.

Real shame.
It's a bit hypocrtitical that Matt posts on MG.net's forum...

APA is back!
But is it still a Matt Good website? I haven't been there for a while and I just noticed that it's back up today.

It's about time someone revived this thread, and I guess I'll be the one to do it.
So, Matt Good, he's got a single coming out soon enough titled Weapon and an album coming out in the winter.
What I'm looking for is a version of Weapon. Does anyone have it, and if so could you send it to me?
AIM: Euph0rian
Thanks.
