He's saying how could the early Christians be trying to subvert the cult of "the invisible sun" when it did not exist yet at the time of Christianity. Read Alex's quote. Remember we are arguing about whether the early church held their meetings on Sundays in order to convert.
At least that is what I think he's trying to say.
