Kalan Porter - 219 Days

Okay, shoot me but I think the guy has talent and I really love the songs he did with Randy Bachman. :)

I was a big Idol hater way back when (I even had my French presentation on how much I was against manufactured music in Gr. 12) and I would have never watched the second season of Canadian Idol if it weren't for my mom.

Kalan and Jacob had me hooked. The top 10 was the best I had ever seen on any Idol show and they didn't sing overplayed pop songs which helped a lot.

I don't actually mind Ben Mulroney. One of the best moments on CI was when Jacob literally licked him. Needless to say, Ben looked really disturbed before yelling "Freak!"

I downloaded Chuck because I used to like Sum 41 but I though 'Does this look infected' was a pile of crap. But with 'Chuck' I'm actually pleasently surprised. I'd go so far as to say I'm impressed. Actual good songs. And 'We're all to Blame' sounds a lot better on the CD then it does as a single. Good stuff.

i got

alternative press gave 'chuck' a bad review saying they were trying way to hard to sound like metallica and ripping off metallica's stuff ...
