However, I also caught one after the encore.I will ask the band to sign them in Saskatoon for the VIP section. Do you think that's too much to ask, for all 4 sigs x2?
Clumsy was good, but the crowd was subdued. The only complaint I have is that when Raine uses the megaphone, it makes no sound. Then when the encore started up, about maybe 4 or 5 of us in the front 3 or 4 rows stood up, and were motioning others to do so. No one did. So then Raine said "stand the fuck up Regina, this is a rock show!" In a good way though, not angry. So everyone stood up, except the people behind me who grumbled the whole show. It was fun to watch Jeremy go crazy on the drums though. And the way him and Duncan ended Starseed was amazing.
EDIT - Also, I saw a guy with a nice video camera walking around right off the main lobby before the show started. I thought it was Trusty, and almost walked up to redeem my free groin kick, but I refrained.
Glad you had a great night Riley. SOunds like it.
Why would you think it is too much to ask them to sign a stick.. I have seen people get lots of things signed. Unless there are a million people but I can not se eit being a problem
they were alittle subdue where I sat in T.O for CLUMSY Also. Odd to me cause SM night people were up. Then again on the floor...
I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

This is getting me all tingly and excited for the show. Oh my gosh. Riley, see you there. Please, do not be a pedaphile, because that ruins the chances of me going to other concerts if you so decide to rape me. And lurkers who have taken note of the city I'm going to, you watch yourselves.
They NEED to do Are You Sad? when I see them.

Impressive once more Matt....really

I am very excited. You have to make me a promise though. When Monkey Brains starts, you have to get on your feet and tell everyone around you to do the same thing!
You didn't promise me that you weren't a pedophile, but we'll see what I can do. I'm so excited! I woke up at like six this morning with a huge smile on my face. I can't wait!

And sorry to beat him to it and spoil it, but the two of us are going to show our faces in the upcoming OLP dvd.
So I assume they recorded the entire show, full blown professional shoot.
Excellent news!! So glad they're making a DVD out of this tour, it's gonna be AMAZING!

I hope they also make a live CD too! I think I'd rather have a live CD so I can listen to it on the go. I hope they don't just have the clumsy set or spiritual machines set though... I'd love to have a live cd with clumsy with the extended outro, naveed/kids, paper moon, new is anybody home, etc etc...

Nice interview w/ Raine and Steve from an Edmonton radio station:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIoS3oPs4dQ
RAINE MENTIONS TRAPEZE!!!! .... but doesn't say they'll be performing it
But he mentions again how the tour is likely to influence their 8th record, and also says he can't remember having this much emotion touring for a long time.
I have a feeling (or hope) that the new album might have a lot of influences from SM... Raine seems to really be into it.
