The production value on that porno seems to be really good.

I saw Coraline last night. It was pretty cute (Although I think I got more excited about the preview for 9 than about the movie I was there to see).

insane? in a good or a bad way??

as a lit nerd i enjoyed the reference to "La Belle Dame Sans Merci", and I've been writing a lot of papers about other worlds lately. so it just touched a "cute" button. not mind-boggling, not too dark or creepy (i thought it was nicely balanced in that regard).

in a good way, i liked the movie a lot. i just don't think "cute" is the right word. "creepy", maybe

BOONDOCK SAINTS YO!

Also, anyone who likes this movie, you absolutely have to check out this documentary.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390336/

it's called Overnight. It's about how the writer/director of the movie fucked over his entire crew and a lot of people who worked with him on the film. However it turns out that they were also filming a documentary during and about the making of Boondock Saints and they released the footage as a documentary to show how big of an asshole the guy really is. He literally got himself blacklisted from making films in Hollywood because of his big ego, greed and lack of intelligence.

The Dark Knight. Again.

Friday I saw 'He's just not that into you' which was surprisingly good. I was expecting an average rom-com, but it was actually quite funny and enjoyable. The whole theatre was laughing.

yeah cause I knew Johnny would rush out to go see it after he heard that. unfortunately for him it's all blue coloured wiener, so he might be disappointed that it's more like his dildo than one of his boyfriends.

I was disappointed in Watchmen. I didn't think it lived up to the hype, and I though a lot of the acting was not that good. I'm also sick of "save the environment" undertones in movies. They did a good job of explaining the stories of the characters, but it took up so much of the movie it left the main event with little time. Maybe it would have been better as a trilogy.

The main event wasn't really given that much time in the novel either though. It was like "CLIMAX WOAH NOW WE'RE FINISHED"
Although, I haven't gotten to the movie yet, so I can't compare.

It didn't have anything to do with saving the environment, nor in the book. Remember, this was written in 1985 during hostile times, in relation to the cold war with the USSR.

The movie stayed extremely true to the novel, but I won't get into a HUGE plot flaw that they changed. Maybe in a few days when I feel like talking about it.
