I did that every day for 8 years of elementary school. Thus the reason I can only sing it in french and not in English. For some reason, in about grade 4, they lost the tape of the real version, so they got the music teacher to record some funk version.

When I was in band, I never actually learned how to play my trombone, I just tried to look like I was doing what the person beside me was doing.

I did the same thing Yannique! Except with my oboe!
And we're still doing this postcard project business? Except...wasn't it Yannic doing it before? I am slightly confused.

Why did you run from my second point! I demand you explain the second point to me! I am far too lazy to read through all the pages of this thread!

Cass, I had a postcard project in which people sent ME postcards. Then I was gonna do something with them, but i never did.
Soozy's was the other way around. She had a bunch of postcards, so she sent them to people.

My elementary school never did that, but the choir I'm in does it after almost all our concerts, in half and half:
Oh, Canada, our home and native land! True, Patriot love, In All thy sons command!
[french]
God Keep our land!...

o canada, terre de nos aieux, ton front est seinte de fleurons glorieux!
"oh canada, land of our ancestors, your frontier is scented with glorious flowers"
the french version not only barely makes any sense but is even MORE hokey than the english

Yay. Welcome back Nikki

What little story did I write for you? It's so long since I wrote those cards I can't even remember which one I sent you.

I got the one from your college, and you told me about the people falling out of the punts.
