Heh, that'd be the song that pretty much *is* a Chantal song. Wonder why that would be.

After listening to it twice, going off and doing something, IT WOULD NOT GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! after hearing it twice! theres something strange about it
but i really really like it. better than some of the others

Avril's ok, she really isn't anything new. After seeing Driven on her, I realized how fucked up my perception of her is. She was raised just like britney and christina; singing in church since day one; entering singing contests; getting signed at an extremely early age... It's uncanny. I look at her differently now. She's got a good voice, but the lyrics just don't do it for me. And I guess I'm having trouble getting over the weirdness of Raine and Chantal being so involved with her.
I did really enjoy the track "Naked" on her last album. It's the only one I really like.

^ahh, i love that song. i saw the Driven too... and it's true, they did all grow up the same way. that's probably (just a guess) because they all wanted to be singers! whoulda thought? lol. and about raine and chantal being so involved?:
i just stumbled across this today...

A few of her singles are listenable, but this new song just plain sucks. She'll join the other one hit wonders like Michelle Branch, Alanis, and Pink.

how is alanis a one hit wonder
she is still selling out amphitheatres in the usa so im not really sure she was a one hit wonder.
and avril has already had like 4 hit songs so she cant be a one hit wonder

that's what i was thinking when i read that
pink, michelle and alanis have also all surpassed the one hit wonder stage

The new album is now out in Japan, and as a result it's also out on a bunch of download sites. I caved in and downloaded it. It's actually pretty good. Nothing spectacular or anything, but I like it. Very straight-forward lyrics, not much room for interpretation, and much more rock than on Let Go.
