i have/had a couple. i deleted most of them though.. i still want it to be fresh when i get the album. album versions i've had:

dont tell me
take me away
he wasn't
my happy ending

songs i currently have:
dont tell me
my happy ending

my happy ending is definately my favourite.. im trying to bring myself to delete it!
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

Heh, that'd be the song that pretty much *is* a Chantal song. Wonder why that would be.

President of the Pookie Brigade

above us only sky, imagine all the people, living for today...

Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do, nothing to kill or die
for, no religion too, imagine all the people, living life in peace...

Imagine no possesions, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or hunger,
a brotherhood of man, imagine all the people, sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope
some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one.

Avril's ok, she really isn't anything new. After seeing Driven on her, I realized how fucked up my perception of her is. She was raised just like britney and christina; singing in church since day one; entering singing contests; getting signed at an extremely early age... It's uncanny. I look at her differently now. She's got a good voice, but the lyrics just don't do it for me. And I guess I'm having trouble getting over the weirdness of Raine and Chantal being so involved with her.

I did really enjoy the track "Naked" on her last album. It's the only one I really like.

^ahh, i love that song. i saw the Driven too... and it's true, they did all grow up the same way. that's probably (just a guess) because they all wanted to be singers! whoulda thought? lol. and about raine and chantal being so involved?:

i just stumbled across this today...

A few of her singles are listenable, but this new song just plain sucks. She'll join the other one hit wonders like Michelle Branch, Alanis, and Pink.

The new album is now out in Japan, and as a result it's also out on a bunch of download sites. I caved in and downloaded it. It's actually pretty good. Nothing spectacular or anything, but I like it. Very straight-forward lyrics, not much room for interpretation, and much more rock than on Let Go.
