Rush.
And again, the Tea Party kicked ass, they were my favourite act up until Rush came on. Heaven's Coming Down sounded amazing.

I never really liked the Tea Party, so I was indifferent on their performance. I was more anxious for them to finish so The Flaming Lips could perform.

The Flaming Lips were hilarious. I loved the first bit with the opera playing while the lead singer marched around with that enormous blue ball.

Yeah. I thought Wayne was trying to be Atlas or something.
Then he had a huge sack of sparkles that he threw around.
They do crazy experiements at their own concerts. I'm going to see them as soon as they come back.
I'm still trying to make sense of the clothes dryer motif during Rush's performance.

at some point in the afternoon (i think b4 kathleen edwards or la chicane went on) mike bullard was on stage talkin and he mentioned justin timberlake, and they showed a fan in the pit with a sign that said "timberlake is a fag" he fought off the laughter and said "i cant read that on tv" as the crowd roared.. that was the biggest non-performer related cheer of the day that wasnt coming out of the beer tent at precisely 1 pm when the beer started flowing
all in all the show was great.. rush, the guess who (altho i dont like em THAT much.. they were still quite entertaining while i lied down on the grass and relaxed), sam roberts, ttp and AC/DC all rocked.. kathleen edwards was pretty cool too..
the stones werent that bad.. not great (as compared to AC/DC or TTP) but they were still cool

I thought rush had a horrible stage presence, and the tea party just didn't sound good...
It was like woah Guess Who was amazing then... hmmm.... Rush.... everyone was falling asleep. Well and passing out... because I WAS 3RD ROW CENTER!!! Then AC/DC and The Stones were amazing too. Flaming lips were a lot of fun.
It's BS that Sam Roberts played before a lot of those bands... Stupid line-up...

lando, as a sam roberts fan, i couldn't agree with you more
but what can you do
he rocked for those 3 songs though
go see him at a club or something smaller when he headlines
it's an amazing rock n roll show
ac dc blew everyone away
the stones are too old
time to hit the retirement homes for them

The Stones are still amazing live!!! They put on a hell of a show, especially a lot of energy from such old guys!
I loved every minute of it!
