I like Starcraft. I think someone mentioned that it was old, but so what? A lot of people still play it. But right now, grr...I can't find my Brood War CD (Starcraft expansion) and my friend borrowed the original SC CD. so i can't play until i find BW or get SC back :clumsy:

Would stealing books from and killing two Hlaalu be a bad idea? I need the money, and the books are worth so much!

Unless you can think of another good way to make some fast money...?

I've got the first 3 shrines, and I need a silver longsword to sacrifice at the next one.

I love the blessings I get at each one. The first was a temporary Feather (carry a lot more books this way, lol), the second was temporary Levitation (very fun to kill folks with this one, just strike and then go up, so they can't hit you), and the third was something like +10 Speed (I think?).

Just in case you didn't read that far back. :heythere:

DO NOT GET ENTER THE MATRIX FOR PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't work.. all the forums that come with it COMPLAIN about the game.. it's really sad. I have a new computer that is better than all the prereqs and it still didn't load.. I got a warning saying that I can't run it full screen, even though EVERY game I have runs

I wanted to play it. Get it for PS2 or Xbox, or whatever,, JUST NOT PC!!!!

thank you :Johnathan: :al:

Your PC must be fruity. It worked just fine on my Pookie's PC, except the obviously (huge) flaws in the driving AI and the voicing/syching.

Sorry I figured you'd be past that already once I'd read this.

Hmm...

Ways to get money...

Well, one reliable thing is always to go to a little village or such where there are lots of useless people in houses and a pawnbroker close by. Go house by house, kill those fuckers, steal ALL their useless shit (plates, etc) and sell it all the pawnbroker. It takes a while but you can really up your mercantile skill as well as making an ass-fortune.

The other fun thing is to steal really cool expensive things and sell them. Oh oh oh... if you go to Vivec, to one of the houses... I think it may be Redoran...? If you're a good enough thief you can break into the vaults and let me tell you, you will be SET. I mean, fuckin' SET. Just watch the tricky spells on the doors... you can get confused and trapped inside.

One last thing I can think off of hand is that, if you're not a sad-ass chicken like me, you can go roaming around for a)coastline smugglers and b)Dwarven ruins, and loot them for all they're worth.

Oh wait, one more. If you're keen enough to search everywhere, especially the lower decks of ships (HINT HINT), you can find an ASSLOAD of moon sugar which can be sold to the right buyer at a very pretty price. :D

Oh P.S. if you get caught stealing from or killing members of Hlaalu, you'll get expelled from the House (if not killed). Also books are heavy and really not worth that much in the grand scheme of things. One little note though, keep a mental tracking of where you found some of the more unusual books. They're occasionally the object of a quest (ie, the Pillow Book)

Sweet, thanks.

I ended up stealing those books. Got about 800 for them, and got the sword I need for the Seven Graces quest. Meh, it was worth it.

However... What the fuck is up with the puzzle canal? I thought it would be like a maze, but it's just these stupid grates that you go through, and then no matter which one you take, you end up back outside the temple at a random grate. wtf?!?

On second thought, I'm just going to go back to my saved game from before I stole the books, and find another way to get some cash. I'm not trying for the Seven Graces any more right now. I just want to get the hell out of Vivec. It's so big and annoying.
