the only morals i have come from rational thought:

if a man A kills man B then man A is a murderer. rationally, he deserves to either suffer the same punishment or pay fair compensation.

your friend wants to do murder. fill in the goddamn blanks. i don't put more value on one humans life just because he's an american and you know him.

was it nice? no. i'm sorry that it wasn't nice. but was it wrong? no.

No one deserves to die. It's that simple. Don't label some one a murderer if he never killed anyone.

Ok. so i jumped the gun. Saddam probably already earned a thousand nasty deaths. morally, anybody whose killed a person out of aggression deserves to die for it. the american army is going in there to kill a whole bunch of people, civillians included. they've got no right to do that. so if they do do it, and they are right now, then they're killers too

alan you made a good point. your friend hasn't killed anybody yet. therefore he still has time to clue in and unplug himself. he doesn't deserve death. but he DID deserve to be dealt with harshly. but you overreacted. i was wrong though.

corey if you could promise that the war wouldn't cost one innocent life then there would be nothing about it to protest. but it's not going to be that way. not to mention there's precious little right that amerikans have to be calling saddam a ruthless killer when they're just as bad.

Doug, what he said was harsh, and if you want to yell at him, go for it. Just don't wish death upon some one going to war, it's too much of a reality. Like, if you were to wish death upon me, I would be mad for a little while, but get over it, because I am not going to die for at least 7 more years.

well he just talked again. same old same old. i love how he slipped the "human shields" thing in there as a qualifier for all the civillians he's going to kill.

Fred Durst just called in to express his disgust with the war. Now I KNOW I'm wrong. Fred Durst truly opened my eyes.

you make it sound like it's intentional...the civilians dying...this isn't the 1600's. no one is gunning for a civilian unless they are a threat. that's what happened in Vietnam, we could have ran in and killed everyone making sure we got the threats too, but that of course doesn't jive with you now does it. the only reason we lost that war is because the oposition blended in with the civilians.

did i just use the word Jive?
