that's awesome! i'm really not good with that kind of stuff though. put your review up here when you get finished with it!

oh! and just when i thought seeing afi was the greatest thing in the world, it could only be topped by one thing, seeing them twice! we drove 4 hours to see them tonight (or last night, technically) and it was amazing!

oh, and basically same setlist except they played 'this celluloid dream' for the first time ever! and perfect fit instead of leaving song pt. 2

damn, no this celluloid dream

i still damn near peed my pants

the venue is kinda shitty and it's really hot in there. i had a tshirt, a dress shirt and a tie on. completely drenched. all of it. and every hair on my head. i looked like i fell into a pool. ANYWAY. amazing, amazing, amazing show. this band can perform. all of them. davey just makes an art out of it. jade. man. i want to be this guy. he hit rockstar poses that knocked my socks off. and hunter. i only have limited bass playing experience but this guy owns. i want to see this band again. however i may not be going to warped tour. i snagged a setlist and met the band after the show. i had to tell them thanks. they really are an inspiration to me and i told them that.
set was:
miseria cantare
lost souls
prayer position
girl's not grey
sacrifice theory
ever and a day
perfect fit
total immortal
morning star
single second
bleed black
dancing through sunday
this time imperfect
days of the phoenix
death of seasons
god called in sick today

during dcist, davey stepped right on my friend's head and he was screaming like a teeny. it was hilarious. i miss this band already.

that's so awesome! were you up front? wow, that sounds like an awesome show. after the columbus show me and my friends were like, DUDE let's just go to the st. louis one right now. but, we didn't know if there were tickets left and the fact that it was SUPER far away. that's awesome about the set list, this kid i went with to the pontiac show wanted one, but there were too many people going for them so he couldn't. was bleed black good live? i really wanted to hear that.

yeah it was great. but i don't think they played a single bad song. i was pretty close the entire show, about one or two people back, then when davey surfed back in at the end of gcist, that's when i made it to the rail and then like two minutes later a roadie handed me a setlist. and a couple kids stood right by me eyeing it for like five minutes. i didn't move. it kinda sucked. the venue allows cameras, just not digital cameras so i got two pictures of strike anywhere before i got yelled at. oh well. it's not like i'll ever forget this show. and yeah, it was sold out so be glad you didn't make that drive. although there was some ticket selling going on. even i happened to have an extra.

so yeah, i just got the version with "clandestine" and supposedly it was going to answer some questions with the whole 337 thing, but this video was weird as hell and now i'm more confused. BUT it was an awesome movie, if you just watch it as that and nothing else. it has this whole blair witch meets the ring vibe.

Maybe I should give AFI yet another chance.

well, they released this 10" picture disc called "336" and supposedly it was something that was to be figured out over time, what 336 meant. And then the AFI webmaster dude was like, 336 means "before" so 337 was the real mystery and that the movie was supposed to help answer it. So far i've heard a lot of interpretations, but i'm still really confused now that i've seen the short film.

yeah, i really need to stop thinking about it, or my head will explode. :(

that movie is addicting though. you can either watch it with hunter's soundtrack or jade's soundtrack. okay, that's it, need to stop watching.

yeah. made no sense to me. course, i don't know anything at all about this 336/337 thing. do you got a link that might explain it to me?

by megxyz128
hmm, basically all that's official is 336 means before and 337 is open to interpretation. best advice would be to go to the afi boards and search for 336/377 something like that, because there are a shitload of threads about it. yeah, and i dont get it either, STILL.
