Aww cut the kid a break. He's growing on me. His over excitement drives us all mad, but he's learning the way of the board, slowly, but he's learning. I'm just afraid he'll swallow his tongue with excitement when he listens to the new album.

When the album comes out, what do you guys think it will be like? Do you think www.ourladypeace.com, or www.ourladypeace.net? Will they put up any cover art for their fans to see? Do you think they will put up the tracklistings, and names of the songs they have on the CD? What do you guys think?

For your information this cd was SUPPOSED to come out LAST YEAR.
I remember our Columbia/Sony rep telling me titles
and dates coming from a monring meeting discussing the direction
of the CD. Then he came to me 2 months later saying the band
wanted to go BACK into the studio and push it to fall. THEN at xmas

Thing is, that was never official. We've all been hearing the same things for just as long as you have, but until it's officially set in stone, it's silly to complain about.

The band was not finished the album a year ago. They continued going back into the studio to change things.

Oh yeah, well my wife has sex with the band members regularly. She KNOWS what the band is doing and when they are ready to officially release something. I've issued this same challenge to many many people: Show me an official statement from Sony/Columbia, or ourladypeace.com (part of Sony) stating the album will be released at any time, ANY TIME, in 2003 or 2004. The only thing out there to be found will be the back of the Labatt sampler, and even then they don't have a concrete date. I could give a shit who you know at Sony, until you produce me an official document showing a month/day/year release date prior to August 30, 2005, you are wrong.

Nobody doubts that reps told you this, but reps=/=official date set in stone. They were probably just telling you what they'd heard most recently, which isn't by any means official.

Hey, OK Go releases their second album on the same day. If the OLP album does indeed get released on the same day here in the U.S., that will be the first time I ever buy two new CDs by two bands beginning with the letter "O" on the same day. What are the chances?! :freak:

P.S. The album title still sucks to me. I think I'll just refer to is as "Healthy..." from this point on.

well, the magic of "Healthy IN Paranoid Times" has kinda faded with me too, but it's still better than "Vampires".....I would of loved the title "Unusual Amount of Common Sense" cause it sounded like OLP was going back into their roots, kinda had a Clumsy era feel to me
