God, I can't stop listening to these two songs.

I'm also convinced that I will never ever have to worry about being let down by matt. his music is great!

This new cd will easily pull me over til OLP6

I'm really hoping that the whole cd is more like these two songs than BSOBL

Don't get me wrong, that's a good song, but i like these two more.

Hmm well i'm not sure about that. Dont get me wrong, i loved the cd but Avalance seemed a little bloated at times. However i'm not make my decision on which is better untill i hear all of White Light.

Yeah, Dusk. It said so on matthewgood.org as well, you know.

And while I'm at it, my 15 favourite Matt songs:

Strange Days
Weapon
Avalanche
21st Century Living
Everything is Automatic
Giant
Jenni's Song
Running for Home
Apparitions
Anti-pop
Flashdance II
Man of Action
Advertising on Police Cars
Alabama Motel Room
Sort of a Protest Song

I think these are my favourite 15:

Weapon
Avalanche
Near Fantastica
21st Century Living
Prime Time Deliverance
Everything is Automatic
Omissions of the Omen
Symbollistic White Walls
Suburbia
Jenni's Song
A Boy and His Machine Gun
Advertising On Police Cars
Tripoli
Fall of Man
Flight Recorder From Viking 7

and the new Matt songs reminded me a little of early REM when I first heard them - which is a very good thing

I don't know...

Avalanche is a great cd, but to me, it's balance is not right. I like a nice balance between beauty and anthemic/awesomeness. I think avalnche had too much beauty for me. Still tied for best cd of 2003 imo (other being Mars Volta). Sure avalanche had Weapon and 21st Century Living, but it had so many slower songs. It made it hard for me to listen through the cd completely 100% without blanking out for a few minutes during one of the songs. That is why BM is my favorite by him, that's why SM and Clumsy are my favorites by OLP. They just have a great blance.

btw - i'm american and would love the puretracks 'Dusk' if anyone is willing to either host it or put it up on the hub under a name like 'Dusk - puretracks' or something of the sort.

Thanks to anyone in advance
